VINTZ DESERT

Vintz began his musical career in early 2017 after joining the Marine Corps. Through the challenges that came with that experience, he started crafting his sound and identity, drawing motivation from the nature around him and the personal struggles he faced at the time. He released his debut EP, Through the Smoke; A Liar, in March 2020, featuring the song “Love in Boston.” Shortly thereafter, he left the service and relocated to Maryland, where he focused on his music career. Since then, he has achieved multiple milestones including the release of his recent EP, soldiers, which has amassed over 1 million streams across platforms, opened his own recording studio, and shared the stage as an opening act for artists such as Nick Mulvey, Luca Fogale, and Dermot Kennedy.

Throughout his career, Vintz has paid special attention to the dynamic between lyrics and instrumentation, frequently building the vocal melodies around delicate guitar patterns. His lyrics are emotionally challenging and unconventionally direct, while still maintaining a sense of comfort that draws the listener closer. His warm, passionate vocals often leave listeners with a feeling of familiarity. Whether it’s the subtle humming that delicately fills the air, lush melodic whistling, or raw lyrics carried by the deep, raspy tones of his inviting voice, Vintz consistently proves that sharing a live musical space with him is both unforgettable and inspiring.
